Join Andrea at Marsh Studio in Darien, GA, as she takes you through an intimate evening traveling Louisiana’s receding coastline via an aerial net, bungee cords, and a trapeze, experiencing it's rising waters, increased salinity, and sinking landmasses.
Begin your evening by enjoying a glass of wine and a traditional south Louisiana meal cooked by Andrea and her father as you sit overlooking Darien’s tidal marshland at the Hudson Creek.
Bayou’s State combines aerial and modern dance, theater, anecdotal stories, as well as river photography by local artist Ansley West Rivers, offering a personal perspective on coastal water issues.
Stay afterwards for light dessert and discussion with the artists.
