"She Arrived, Alone" is Act One of "The Chemistry of Lime Trees", which explores the impact of borders, real or perceived, through two historical stories. Part One is a story from the Ellis Island archives about a young Russian woman abandoned on her way into America by her fiance. Performed by Andrea and Daniel Burkholder
